BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to UT Dallas at the Annex Field at Burger Stadium Saturday afternoon.

The Tornados held strong after the Comets'  Taylor Rasmussen put the first tally on the board in the first half. Despite a valiant effort, Concordia went into the break with a 1-0 deficit.

UTD would grab a 2-0 lead on a penalty kick goal by Sofia Quezada early into the second half. The Comets went on to add two more goals later in the game.

Kila Hartom made 10 saves against a very aggressive UTD attack. Nicole Henderson fired three shots on target for Concordia, but all were stopped by the Comet keeper.

The Tornados return to the field Wednesday for a non-conference matinee against Huston-Tillotson. Kickoff is slated for noon at St. Stephen's Episcopal School.
