BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas men's soccer team saw its record winning streak come to a close Saturday night at the hands of the 17th-ranked UT Dallas Comets in a 2-1 decision.

UTD's Danny Meyer scored the game winning goal with about 25 minutes left to play in regulation.

Concordia's Fabian Billings opened the scoring 24 minutes into the game, converting on a cross pass from Marc Kouassi. A few minutes later, the Comets' Andrew Jensen scored the equalizer.

The teams played shutdown defense for much of the contest. The Tornados were very aggressive in the first half, putting five shots on goal.

Concordia returns to action Wednesday for a non-conference bout against Huston-Tillotson. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at St/ Stephen's and will follow the conclusion of the women's match.
