BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team suffered a 5-2 setback against Huston-Tillotson Wednesday afternoon at St. Stephen's Episcopal School.
The Rams scored the first goal of the contest 20 minutes into the first half, when Kimberlin Palacios found the back of the net. The lead would not last long as the Tornados'
Maddison Hoskins would tie things up on her own unassited goal off a free kick.
Katia Castellanos broke the tie for Huston-Tillotson with 12 minutes left in the half. The match remained 2-1 at the break.
The Rams would add two more goals in the second half before
Kaitlyn Ellis would cut into the lead with five minutes left in the game, however, HTU would once again grab a three-goal advantage in the final minute.
The Tornados return to St. Stephen's Saturday for a 5 p.m. conference battle against Mary Hardin-Baylor to wrap up the homestand.
