BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- For the first time in prorgram history, the Concordia Texas men's soccer team is 3-0 after edging out Dallas 4-2 at St. Stephen's Episcopal School Sunday afternoon.

The Tornados got on the board quickly. Just eight minutes into the game, Fabian Billings found the back of the net off a deflection from Farauz Abbaszadeh. Less than a minute later, Diego Outerial would add his first of two goals. Outerial converted a penalty kick to give Concordia a 2-0 advantage. With 32 mintues elapsed, he would once again tickle the twine. This time, he powered the ball past the Crusader keeper.

Concordia would go up 4-0 on Alejandro Labastida's second goal of the season midway through the second half.

Unfortunately, Dallas' Barton Holdridge would find paydirt twice over the course of the game's final 15 minutes.

Nick Martin did, however, get three stops in between the pipes for the Tornados and earned his third victory of the year.

Corey Miller took time to speak with the Concordia Texas Athletics Sports Information staff after the contest. Video of the interview can be found on our Facebook page.

The Tornados will continue the homestand Friday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. against Texas Lutheran at St. Stephen's.
