BOX SCORE SHERMAN, Texas – The Concordia women's soccer team fell short 2-0 at Austin College Sunday afternoon.

The Roos got on the board just six minutes into the contest on Kylie Peterson's goal. Austin College would add a second goal with about 14 minutes remaining in the first half.

The Tornados managed four shots on goal, but all were stopped by Roos keeper Laura McGee.

The Concordia Texas defense was able to limit Austin College to just four shots on target.

The Tornados return to action on Friday, Sept. 11 for the first of two contests on the weekend. First up, it's Our Lady of the Lake followed by Hardin-Simmons in a rare non-conference meeting Saturday. Both matches are at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
