BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's basketball team suffered its fourth straight loss Thursday night, falling to No. 7/9 UT Tyler 77-54 at the Concordia Fieldhouse. It was the Tornados' first home loss of the season.

The Patriots (6-0 ASC, 12-1) outscored CTX 28-9 in the final quarter to pull away, but the Tornados (0-3, 7-5) put forth a valiant effort against one of Division III's top-10 programs.

The two squads traded the lead 17 times over the course of the evening. Concordia held a 46-45 advantage with a minute left in the third, but UT Tyler quickly took back the lead and never looked back.

Isis Johnson led all scores with 23 points. Jayci Padgett tallied 12 points off the bench and was the only other Tornado to finish in double figures.

Concordia returns to action Saturday against LeTourneau for Alumni Game Day. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
