BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's basketball team suffered a 76-72 loss against LeTourneau Saturday afternoon.
Despite 37 points off the bench the Tornados (0-4 ASC, 7-6), including a team-high 17 from Merceceds Ellison, Concordia unable to overcome the YellowJackets' (5-2, 9-6) Crystal Jones' 30-point performance.

Jaela Dejean ended the night with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
LeTourneau used a 10-0 over the course of nearly two minute early in the third to gain momentum. The Tornados were able to tie the game at 42 all, but the YellowJackets stayed hot, scoring the next seven straight points to go on top 49-42. Concordia closed the gap but went into the fourth trailing 54-50.
The Tornados and YellowJackets both tailled 22 points each in the fourth quarter.
Ally Terry hit two free throws to give Concordia a 69-68 lead with 2:14 left. The YellowJackets then hit a layup at the other end.
Jaela Dejean split a pair of free throws to tie the contest at 70, but LeTourneau closed the game on a 6-2 spurt.
Both teams went back-and-forth throughout the first half. Neither team scored until inside 8:00 in the first quarter. Concordia would climb to a nine point advantage with 1:11 left in the first half before heading into the break with a 36-28 lead.
Concordia returns to action Jan. 16 at Mary Hardin-Baylor. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
