CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – The Concordia Texas women's soccer team ended the 2016 regular season with a 1-0 win over Ozarks. Madi Timmons scored the lone goal in the contest while Kila Hartom made three saves for the shutout.

Timmons' goal came in the 65th minute, after a great pass from teammate Vanessa Lecocq.

The Tornados tallied seven shots on goal total, four of which came from Timmons as she led the aggressive attack for Concordia.

CTX, who finishes ASC play at 6-5, will likely earn the fifth seed and travel to fourth-seeded UT Dallas to take on the Comets in the opening round of the 2016 ASC Women's Soccer Tournament. The full bracket will be announced later today. Visit the women's soccer schedule page or follow CTX Athletics on social media for updates.

The 6-5 league record is the best since 2012. At 8-6-1 overall, the Tornados also finish the regular season above the .500 mark for the first time under head coach Brad O'Kelley and the fifth time in the last seven seasons.
