BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's basketball team closed out the regular season with their third consecutive victory, a 75-60 triumph over McMurry Saturday afternoon at Concordia Fieldhouse.

Fittingly, Isis Johnson led the way with 19 points and 10 rebounds in her final home contest. Da'Quayla Terry, another senior, chipped in 10 points and nine boards. Jaela Dejean tallied 14 points for the Tornados.

The Tornados (14-11) saw themselves trailing 17-14 at the end of the first quarter, but CTX clamped down defensively and outscored the War Hawks 22-12 in the second and 23-11 in the third to put the game away. Concordia held a seven-point advantage at the break.

The Tornado defense controlled the paint, outscoring McMurry 42-18 in the category.

Concordia travels to Tyler, Texas, for the ASC Tournament. CTX will look to upset the hosting Patriots. Tip-off is Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
