AUSTIN, Texas – Madi Timmons tallied two goals to lead an outstanding Concordia Texas scoring effort Saturday against Louisiana College.

The Tornados (3-1-1, 1-0 ASC) scored two goals within the first five minutes, first from Maria Paula Vela and the second from Kaitlyn Ellis. Ellis' tally came on a feed from Vela.

After Timmons scored her pair of goals, CTX added one more before the intermission from Pamela Lasprilla.  In the second half, Kaycee Moore scored for the Tornados in the contest, as well.

The Tornado defense held the Wildcats without a shot.

The six goals tie for the second-most in program history. The last time CTX found the back of the net six times was in 2014 against Ozarks.

Concordia hits the road for three straight contests, starting Thursday, Sept. 22 at UT Dallas. Kickoff is at 5 p.m.
