RICHARDSON, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's tennis earned a win at line but it was not enough as they fell to UT Dallas on the road 8-1 on Saturday.
The Tornados would trail 3-0 after the double matches as
Hoanh Le and
Micah Austin, at line one, lost 8-5, as did
Clayton Hernandez and
Adam Compton, who played at line two.
In the singles matches, Le would rally from a set down to come back and take a win at line one, going 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 over the Comets' Alberto Hernandez.
UT Dallas would take the rest of the matches in straight sets as CTX moved to 1-1 on the season.
The Tornados will have their home opener against Sul Ross State on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the UT Whitaker courts.
