AUSTIN, Texas –
Hoanh Le won in straight sets at line one singles, but the Concordia Texas men's tennis team came up short to Wisconsin Eau-Claire, falling 8-1 on Wednesday.
Le would shutout out the Blugolds in the first set and took the second set 6-3 in his singles match, giving the Tornados their lone win. After falling in the first set,
Isaac Glynn would seek to force a decisive third set, but came up short, losing 6-4.
In the doubles matches, Le and
Micah Austin would try and stage a comeback at line one, but after winning a thrilling game on Austin's serve, UWEC would take the match 8-5. Concordia Texas would drop the doubles matches' at line two and three 8-2, 8-1 respectively.
The Tornados have a quick turnaround as they host Austin College on March 24 at 5 p.m. at River Place Country Club.
