ABILENE, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's tennis playing in their second match in as many days would fall to McMurry 9-0, but would clinch a berth to the American Southwest Conference Tournament for the third year in a row, on Saturday.

Adam Compton would battle at line one doubles, only be broken once in the match, but lost 8-6 as the Tornados headed into the singles matches trailing 3-0.
In singles,
Micah Austin would battle back at line three to force a decisive third set, but would come up short dropping the final set 11-9.
Concordia Texas would go on to suffer a 9-0 loss in the team match to the War Hawks.
Despite the loss, the Tornados would clinch a berth to the American Southwest Conference for the third straight year, finishing as the fourth seed in the west division.
The single-elimination ASC Tournament will run from May 3-5 and be hosted by the top seed in the west division.
