BOX SCORE RICHARDSON, Texas – Seven Tornados would record a hit, but it was not enough as the Concordia Texas baseball team fell to UT Dallas 15-2 on Saturday.
The Tornados would strike first in the first inning as
Clarence Guidry III led off with a double and moved to third on
Casen Novak's single.
Carson Cox would bring Guidry III home on a sac fly to right and CTX led 1-0 early on.
The Comets would put up five runs in the bottom half of the inning to retake the lead.
The Tornados would push across a run in the 5
th inning on
Alex Britz's RBI ground out to cut to 5-2.
Texas-Dallas would respond though, scoring eight runs in the bottom half of the inning and extended the lead to 13-2.
Concordia Texas was unable to score again, as they fell to the Comets 15-2.
The Tornados will look to bounce back against UTD in a doubleheader on Sunday with the first game set to start at noon from the UTD Baseball Field.
