SCHEDULE CHANGE: Tornados, Tigers moved to Saturday start

AUSTIN, Texas – Due to impending weather conditions, the Concordia Texas baseball team's game against East Texas Baptist has been pushed back a day to a Saturday start, announced by the program on Friday.

The Tornados were scheduled to face the Tigers in the winner's pool of the red bracket of the American Southwest Conference Baseball Tournament Series on Friday afternoon, but due to the forecasted weather in the area, the game was postponed.

The teams will now face each other on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the loser moving to the elimination game against Hardin-Simmons at 5 p.m. The winner of the game advances to the championship game of the red bracket, which will be held on Sunday at noon at Tornado Field.

In the opening game of the ASC Tournament, CTX run-ruled Sul Ross State 11-1 thanks to Carson Cox's four-hit day, including a pair of triples.
