AUSTIN, Texas – Due to weather conditions and travel concerns in the state, the Concordia Texas men's and women's soccer programs have delayed their games vs. Howard Payne to a new day, announced by the teams on Thursday.
The Tornados were set to face the Yellow Jackets in their home opener on Friday in Round Rock, Texas, but the continuous turbulent weather and travel concerns for the parties involved resulted in postponing the games to a new date.
Concordia Texas will host the HPU on March 25 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. The women's game will kick off at noon, followed by the men's game at 2:30 p.m.
The Tornados now have a new date for their home opener, hosting Hardin-Simmons on March 12 in Round Rock, Texas. The women will play at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
