Twenty-eight student-athletes inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma

AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas Athletics department welcomed 28 new student-athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma on Tuesday for their academic achievements in the classroom, while continuing to represent the school on the field in their respective sport.

Chi Alpha Sigma was founded in 1996 at Depauw University in Indiana and was created to honor student-athletes who achieved both academically and athletically.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have participated in his or her sport for at least one year, have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or better, and must be classified academically as a junior or senior.

Twenty-eight Tornados were inducted into CAS in 2021 for their academic and athletic accomplishments. Below is the list of the new members as well as previous student-athletes inducted into CAS.
