AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas baseball program has announced it will host a Fall Prospect Camp on Sunday, September 26 and will occur regardless of weather conditions in the Austin area. Tornado Field is an all turf facility and features indoor cages, making workouts in the weather less problematic.

The camp will take place at Tornado Field on the campus of Concordia University Texas. This camp is for high school juniors ('23 grads) and seniors ('22 grads) who are looking to play at the next level.

Registration and check-in for camp for Pitchers ONLY will open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Registration will take place inside the clubhouse. Parents and athletes must have their payments ready at registration. CTX takes cash or checks only and checks must be made payable to Concordia Baseball.

Pitchers will stretch and begin warming up at 9:00 a.m., with bullpen sessions and pitching discussions starting at around 9:30 a.m. Pitchers will be able to leave the field and go eat lunch after bullpens are complete.  Pitchers will return to the field at 3 p.m. to begin warmups for the game/sim game. 

Registration for position players will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the clubhouse and will begin warming up at 11:00 a.m. Position players will be able to leave the field and go eat lunch after skills session of camp is complete.  Position players will return to the field at 3 p.m. to begin warmups for the game/sim game. 

Camp will end at approximately 5:30 pm or after the game/sim game is completed. 

This is an opportunity for prospects interested in the Concordia Baseball program to show off their skills in front of Concordia coaches as well as work and interact with current Tornado players. Position players will take batting practice, be timed in 60's, get INF/OF velocities and work out at their positions, while pitchers will have the opportunity to go through a throwing and bullpen session. All players will be able to compete in the game/sim game at the end of camp.

Players interested should SIGN UP HERE and bring spikes, a glove, a bat, a helmet and a hat to the camp. Additionally, players should be dressed in proper baseball attire.

High school Junior ('23) and Senior ('22) athletes are encouraged to sign up for the camp here. Camp proceeds will go to the Concordia Texas baseball program.
