AUSTIN, Texas – The 2022 fall schedule is set for the Concordia Texas men's and women's cross country programs. Beginning on Sept. 1, the Tornados will use one five regular season meets to prepare for postseason meets, starting Oct. 29.
CTX will open competition on Thursday, Sept. 1 with the Tornado Watch Invitational to serve as a home meet. The following weekend on Friday, Sept. 9, the Tornados will travel to Houston for the Rice Invitational.
After a two week hiatus, Concordia will host its final home meet with the Concordia Classic on Friday, Sept. 23. The Tornados will then cross over to the Natural State of Arkansas to compete in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival on Sept. 30. Before the postseason begins, CTX will finish the regular season at the ETBU Tiger Invitational on Friday, Oct. 14.
The Tornados will then race for conference crowns at the ASC Championships in Marshall, TX on Oct. 29. Both programs will look to qualify for the NCAA West Regional Championships, held in Spokane, WA on Nov. 12.
