Cameron Burleson scored the lone goal for the Tornados at the Southwestern University Soccer Fields on Friday.
The Pirates tallied two early goals in the 6th and 16th minutes. Both teams would have opportunities in the first half, but the score would remain 2-0 entering the intermission.
CTX came out with a comeback on their mind as a free kick turned into a goal just four minutes into the second half. With both teams jockeying for the crucial next goal, the Pirates were able to capitalize and score late in the match to secure the win.
Concordia Texas will next head to Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran in the regular season finale this Sunday at noon.
