BOX SCORE RICHARDSON, Texas - The Concordia Texas baseball team fell short in a 2-1 decison at UT Dallas. Starting pitcher
Rowdy Hoadley struckout a career-best seven batters in 6.0 innings of action at the UT Dallas baseball field on Good Friday.
Both teams were humming along on the mound and defensively as Hoadley and the Tornados defense did not allow a hit unitl the fourth. The Comets were able to strike first with a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh.Â
Looking to answer, CTX cut the deficit in half in the final frame when
Kalen Clark scored on a RBI single by
Mason DuBois. CTX could not record the second run to tie the game as the Comets would hold on for the win.
Concordia Texas will next travel to San Antonio, Texas for an away matchup at Trinity this Tuesday, April 2nd. First pitch is set for 6pm.Â
