SAN ANTONIO, Texas - In the final non-conference game of the regular season, the Concordia Texas baseball team was defeated by a score of 3-1 against 16th-ranked Trinity University. The Tornados' bullpen combined for eight strikeouts at Trinity Baseball Field on Tuesday.
The Tornados got off to a strong start when a RBI-single up the middle by Chris Morrow scored Julian Swift in the top of the first. The Tigers matched the run in the bottom of the frame, and claimed a 3-1 advantage in the fifth.
After both teams went scoreless through the next three innings, CTX loaded bases with only one out in the ninth. Trinity would then record a pair of strikeouts to end the game and claim the victory.

Concordia Texas will now shift their focus back to a pivotal ASC matchup starting this Friday, April 5th against the University of the Ozarks. First pitch is set for 6:30pm.
