AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's soccer team closed out exhibition play with a 3-3 draw against Division II opponent St. Edward's. Jose Aguirre notched two goals & an assist, while Theo Givens also scored at Lewis Chen Field on Sunday.

The Tornados got on the board first when Aguirre fed Givens for a goal. Later in the match, Aguirre would secure his first goal of the match with a penalty kick. Aguirre's second goal would come late in the second half when Gustavo Hernandez played him a through ball.

With the conclusion of preseason play, Concordia Texas will open up the regular season against UMHB next Friday, August 30th. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.
