AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's basketball team took down the University of Dallas by a score of 76-59. The Tornados outboarded the Crusaders 63-46 inside the Deb & Don Christian Fieldhouse on Sunday.
With a 19-19 tie early in the second quarter, a 14-4 run by the Tornados would put CTX up double digits after Katelyn Tietjen found Kayla Stainthorp for a three. Dallas would cut the deficit in half for a 33-28 score entering the break.
The Crusaders would get within two points, but a third quarter surge would put Concordia up 59-41 heading into the final frame. Surging ahead, Concordia's lead grew to as much as 25 points following a Jazlyn Braithwaite corner three as Concordia would carry the momentum into a victory.

Concordia Texas will next head to Abilene for a rematch with McMurry this Tuesday, February 18th. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
