NEW ORLEANS, LA - Concordia Texas men's track & field sprinter Jacob Land has been named to the USTFCCCA All-West Region Team, the organization announced on Thursday. Land is the first Tornado in history to make an All-Region Team in the 100m dash. He is also the first Tornado to earn the honor since the trio of Bayli Luke, Landon Norsworthy, & Ravon Davis-Conway in 2022.

Land, a senior from Royse City, recorded the program's fastest 100m time at 10.52 at the War Hawk Classic in April. The time was the fifth fastest in the region (top five times are selected to the All-Region Team). 

Capping off the season strong, Land placed third at the SCAC Championships. He also competed at the Last Chance Meet in San Antonio where he recorded his fourth consecutive sub-10.80 race of the season.
