AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas women's tennis athletes Isabella Cepeda & Kayla Pena have been named to the SCAC All-Conference Teams. The duo were both listed to the doubles and singles teams, the league's office announced on Thursday.

Pena, a grad senior, caps off her historic career of numerous accolades with a Second Team All-Conference selection. Pena posted the third best winning percentage (.615) in line one singles play in the conference. Competing in line one of all the matches for the Tornados, Pena posted a record of 8-6.

Cepeda, a junior hailing from Georgetown, held steady on line two singles for the Tornados with a team-best nine wins to be named to the All-Conference Second Team as well. Five of her nine wins came in SCAC action as she helped lead CTX to a four-seed in the conference tournament.

The pairing also tallied All-SCAC Doubles Second Team honors. Recording a 10-5 record overall, Cepeda & Pena surged to a 6-1 record in conference play. The tandem was also the SCAC Doubles Team of the Week in week one of the season.
