AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's basketball team delivered a historic offensive explosion on Wednesday night, overpowering Hendrix 129–54 inside the Deb & Don Christian Fieldhouse. The 129 point outburst marks the sixth most points scored in program history and the highest single game total since November 2013, highlighting a dominant performance on both ends of the floor.
The Tornados set the tone immediately, racing to 68 first half points behind 55 percent shooting and a relentless defensive presence that forced 16 Hendrix turnovers before the break. Concordia's pace never slowed, piling up 47 fast break points and converting 56 points off turnovers across the full 40 minutes.
Depth and balance fueled the blowout. CTX's bench erupted for 79 points, with 11 players scoring at least six and six reaching double figures. The Tornados also controlled the glass with a 64–39 rebounding advantage, turning 22 offensive boards into 22 second chance points. Hendrix struggled to keep up with the tempo, shooting just 26 percent from the field and 19 percent from three.
