SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Sulphur Springs Invitational on Tuesday, finishing fourth and seventh in the team standings. The Tornados competed in two rounds on Monday before concluding the 54-hole tournament with the final round on Tuesday.

Concordia's first team finished fourth overall with a three-round total of 880 (+28), posting rounds of 289, 296 and 295. The Tornados' second team placed seventh with a combined score of 922 (+70), recording rounds of 317, 299 and 306.

Holden Todd led the Tornados with a three-round score of 218 (+5), tying for eighth individually. Todd opened the tournament with an even-par 71 before carding rounds of 74 and 73.

August Leinweber followed with a 223 (+10), tying for 15th after posting rounds of 70, 78 and 75. Dylan Buckley finished tied for 17th at 224 (+11), highlighted by back-to-back even-par rounds of 71 on Monday.

Jason Wood finished tied for 21st with a 228 (+15), while Grant Guenther tied for 23rd with a 230 (+17). Jackson Reynolds rounded out the first team's scoring with a 232 (+19).

For the second team, Felix Bennett led the way with a 215 (+2), finishing third individually. Bennett recorded the lowest round of the tournament for Concordia with a three-under-par 68 in Monday's second round after opening with a 71. He closed the event with a 76.

Samuel Woodberry followed with a 233 (+20), placing 29th, while Shon Dellinger finished 33rd at 238 (+25).

Tadcomd Ames placed 38th with a 241 (+32), followed by Rowan Deleon in 41st at 246 (+33). Jacob Ratcliff rounded out the Tornados' lineup in 46th with a 255 (+42).

Concordia Texas will next finish out the fall campaign in Westworth Village, Texas at the Crusader Cup. The Tornados will compete at Hawks Creek Golf Club on October 26-27.
