SEGUIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's and women's golf teams wrapped up competition at the John Nellermoe Classic on Tuesday at Max Starcke Park Golf Course. The women competed across two rounds, playing the opening 18 holes Monday before completing the tournament Tuesday, while the men competed across three rounds.

Katelyn Miller highlighted the tournament for the Tornados, tying for first place on the women's individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 154 (+10). Miller carded matching rounds of 77 before ultimately finishing runner-up following a tiebreaker round.

Miller was among the most productive players in the field throughout the tournament. She recorded a tournament-best five birdies and led the field in average scoring on both par-4 and par-5 holes.

Behind Miller, the CTX women finished fourth with a two-round total of 664. The Tornados improved by six strokes Tuesday, following an opening-round 335 with a 329. Reese Trujillo tied for 19th at 168 (+24), while Alexa Ibarraran tied for 22nd at 169 (+25). Remme Trujillo and Silvia Alejandra Martinez-Ibarra each finished tied for 33rd at 175 (+31).

Reynolds provided one of the biggest highlights of the tournament during the second round, recording an albatross on the third hole. The three-under-par score was one of only two eagles-or-better recorded during the tournament, tying for the tournament high.

Samuel Woodberry also turned in a tournament-leading performance in one of the consistency categories, recording a field-best 41 pars across his three rounds. Woodberry finished with a 232 (+16), while Grant Guenther carded a 227 (+11) and Holden Todd finished at 228 (+12).

Competing individually, Dylan Buckley tied for 29th at 226 (+10), while Cruz Montoya finished at 231 (+15).

Miller's runner-up finish, Reynolds' albatross and Woodberry's tournament-best 41 pars highlighted the trip for Concordia as the Tornados continued their fall campaign.
