SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Concordia Texas men's golf team delivered a strong three-round performance to earn a second-place finish at the San Antonio Shootout, highlighted by multiple top-20 individual finishes at the TPC San Antonio course.
Leading the way for the Tornados was Kaden English, who tied for sixth overall with a 54-hole total of 219 (+3). English opened with a 70 in round one, followed by a 72 in round two, before closing with a 77 to secure his top-10 finish.
Parker Smith finished eighth overall with a three-round score of 220. Smith, who was tied with English through day one, posted back-to-back rounds of 71 to begin the tournament and added a 78 in the final round to give Concordia another top-10 performance.
AJ So placed tied for 16th with a total score of 230, carding rounds of 75, 76, and 79 across the two-day event. Dylan Buckley turned in a steady effort, finishing 27th overall with rounds of 85, 75, and 84 for a 244 total. Cole Pospisil finished tied for 32nd after posting rounds of 83, 83, and 88 for a 254 tournament total.
Rounding out the lineup for CTX, was Holden Todd with a score of 82-85-95. Shon Dellinger did not compete in the first round but compiled a 36-hole score of 74-76 for a strong showing in his spring debut.
As a team, the Tornados' depth and consistency across the lineup propelled them to a runner-up finish in a competitive field. Concordia will look to build on the momentum as they prepare for their next tournament of the spring season.

Concordia Texas will next head to Irving, Texas on February 23-24 to compete in the Crusader Cup (Hackberry Creek Country Club), hosted by the University of Dallas.
