ABILENE, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's basketball team continued its strong SCAC run with a 102–91 road win over McMurry on Friday evening inside Kimbrell Arena. The Tornados shot a blistering 57 percent from the field and piled up 70 points in the paint, using their trademark pace and depth to pull away in the second half.
After a back‑and‑forth first half that saw five ties and both teams trading scoring bursts, CTX entered the break up 50–49. From there, the Tornados tightened their defensive pressure and turned stops into transition opportunities, outscoring the War Hawks 52–42 over the final 20 minutes.
Senior guard Joey Ramirez delivered another efficient scoring night, finishing with 25 points on 11–14 shooting, adding 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Anariss Brandon continued his strong play with 18 points and 6 rebounds, attacking the rim and sparking multiple fast‑break runs.
