BLOOMINGTON, Minnesota - Concordia Texas senior outfielder Landon Hyle has been named to the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week, the committee's office announced on Wednesday. Hyle is the first Tornado to earn the honor this season and the most recent since Zach Seigrist last March.

Hyle put together a dominant all-around offensive performance, helping lead Concordia Texas to a 3-1 week, including a midweek victory over Wooster & a series win over Austin. Hyle hit .611 (11-for-18) across four games, recording 12 RBIs, 11 runs scored, and multiple extra-base hits, including two home runs, four doubles, and a triple.

Hyle reached base at a .667 clip while posting a 1.278 slugging percentage, consistently producing in every game of the series. He recorded multiple multi-hit performances and was a key contributor in Concordia's 54-run, 63-hit output over the the four games.

Hyle and the Tornados will next be in action in Conway, Arkansas this weekend where they will take on Hendrix College in a series starting this Friday, March 27th.
