Baseball Run-Rules LeTourneau in Series Finale

Jaxson Frazier and Ralph Wallace III combined for a one-hitter on Friday.

LONGVIEW, Texas – Concordia Texas baseball bounced back on Friday afternoon with a dominant 10-0 victory over LeTourneau in the series finale at Conrad-Vernon Field. On the mound, Jaxson Frazier turned in a dominant performance, allowing just one hit over 6.1 scoreless innings while striking out four to earn his first win of the season. Ralph Wallace III recorded the final two outs to complete the shutout.

The Tornados struck early and never looked back. Jett Warner put CTX on the board in the first inning with an RBI single to score Kolten McDaniel, giving Concordia a 1-0 lead.

CTX extended the advantage in the third inning. Warner delivered another RBI single before Samuel Ortiz followed with an RBI single of his own to push the lead to 3-0.

The Tornados continued to add on in the fourth inning. Louis Alonzo singled through the left side to bring home a run, and Landon Hyle drove in another with a groundout to make it 5-0.

Concordia broke the game open in the sixth inning with three runs. Warner picked up his third RBI of the game with a single, and Logan Smith followed with a two-run double to extend the lead to 8-0.

CTX added two more insurance runs in the seventh when Hyle delivered a two-RBI single to cap the scoring and give the Tornados a 10-0 advantage.

Concordia Texas will next host Muhlenberg College this Monday, March 9th. First pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
