Concordia University Texas women's basketball senior Tyler Compton has been named the Taco Bell Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.

Compton averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.5 steals in a 1-1 week for the Tornados. The 5-foot-4 guard scored 19 points and led CTX to a 55-52 overtime road victory over Hardin-Simmons last Thursday. She finished the week with 21 points and six rebounds in a 73-66 loss at Texas-Dallas.
