BOX SCORE

AUSTIN, Texas --
A 58th minute goal by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was enough to help the Cru (7-1-0, 5-0-0 ASC) remain unbeaten in ASC play with a 1-0 win over the Concordia University Texas men's soccer team Thursday afternoon at Town & Country Optimist Soccer Fields.

Bo Baker scored the game-winning goal for the Cru after the Tornados (3-3-2, 1-2-2 ASC) were unable to clear a ball that had landed in the 18-yard box.  Baker was able to play the ball to his right into space and took a shot that was deflected past CTX junior goalkeeper #Eric Davis#.

CTX survived an early attack by the Cru as Neiko Camp attempted a shot that carried over Davis by hit the crossbar and was cleared by the Tornados defense in the 39th minute.

The Tornados were able to mount a few good scoring chances including a volley shot by freshman #Alec Kemnitz# that sailed just wide of the near post.

Mark Miller secured the shutout for UMHB by making four saves in the match.

Davis stopped 11 shots for CTX, including nine in the first half.

Concordia Texas will return to action on Sat., Oct. 3, in another ASC tilt with Howard Payne University.  Game time has been pushed back and will begin at 5 p.m. at Town & Country.
