KERRVILLE, Texas -- Sophomore midfielder #Kiera Ruck# scored with five minutes remaining in the contest to give the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Schreiner University Friday afternoon.

The Tornados (3-4-3, 2-4-1 ASC), who snapped a three-game losing streak, dominated the second half pace and finally broke through in the 86th minute as Ruck notched her team-leading fifth goal of the season.

Freshman goalkeeper #Teysha Sivage# turned in her third clean sheet of the season and stopped seven shots in the process.

CTX will return to the pitch tomorrow in a 1 p.m. contest at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.
