San Antonio, Texas – Kila Hartom made a career-high six saves, but the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team fell by a 1-0 score in double overtime to Our Lady of the Lake on Friday, Sept. 7 in non-conference action.

After both sides failed to find the back of the net throughout regulation and one extra session, Our Lady of the Lake (1-2) finally broke through with the match's only goal in the 104th minute. Stephanie Vazquez fired a shot that clanked off the post, and Victoria Vazquez was in the right place to pot the rebound to give the Saints the sudden victory.

Hartom of Concordia turned away six of the 20 shots she faced in the losing effort. Our Lady of the Lake's Emily Backus made one save on five chances.

Concordia (1-2) returns home to host Huston-Tillotson at St. Stephen's on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.
