AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's soccer team will continue its current five-match road trip this weekend as it travels to Ozarks and No. 7 Texas-Dallas for a pair of American Southwest Conference (ASC) contests. The Tornados will face the Eagles at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Clarksville, Ark., before traveling to play the Comets at 3 p.m. two days later.

Concordia Texas (1-7-1, 1-3-0 ASC) has lost its last two outings, both shutouts. The Tornados were blanked by East Texas Baptist, 3-0, last Saturday in Marshall, Texas.

Junior Christian Fredrickson leads CTX with four total points, which includes two goals. Fredrickson netted both scores in the Tornados' 2-1 win at Howard Payne on Oct. 4. Sophomores Matthew Butler and Ray Obeña each have accumulated two points apiece. Butler scored Concordia's first goal of the year in a 2-1 loss to Louisiana College on Sept. 27, while Obeña has registered two assists.

Ozarks (6-5-2, 1-3-1 ASC) has dropped three consecutive matches, including two in overtime. LeTourneau scored in the 94th minute to knock off the Eagles in their last outing on Oct. 12. Ozarks boasts four players in double-digit points, including Marcus Aldaba who has racked up 16 points (five goals/six assists) this fall.

Texas-Dallas (9-0-3, 3-0-2 ASC), which jumped six spots in Tuesday's NSCAA national top-25 poll, has won its last two matches. The Comets blanked LeTourneau, 2-0, last Friday and posted a 4-1 win over Texas-Tyler a day later. Texas-Dallas leads the ASC in seven offensive categories, including goals per game (3.5) and shots (278). The Comets boast four of the league's top 10 point scorers, including Michael Darrow who has registered a league-leading 35 points (14 goals/7 assists) this season.
