BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas men's soccer team grabbed its seventh win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Howard Payne Friday night at Town and Country Park. The triumph set a new standard for wins in a season for the Tornados.

Marc Kouassi's goal in the 20th minute put Concordia on the board and the Tornados remained in control for the remainder of the match.

Alejandro Labastida would also get on the board, converting on a cross pass from Diego Outeiral in the 48th minute.

Marshall Tucker added his first tally of the season courtesy of a penalty shot.

The Yellow Jackets spoiled the shutout in the 87th minute, when Tracer Moore put one past Nick Martin from 35 yards out.

Martin stopped seven other HPU shots on goal, including a diving stop early in the second half. His counterpart, Allan Chehadi, also prevented seven shots from getting past.

Concordia goes right back to the pitch tomorrow against UT Dallas. Kickoff will follow the conclusion of the women's match. The action starts at 5 p.m. at the Annex Field at Burger Stadium in South Austin.
