CLARKSVILLE, Ark. -- The Concordia Men's basketball team began a two-game road trip with a 123-107 victory over the University of the Ozarks on Monday night.

The Tornados scored 123 points, the eighth-highest point total in school history, just four days after matching the school's highest point total at 144. The Tornados finished with six players in double figures, led by Ephriam Prince's 21 points, while Joe Neal had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. CTX shot 51 percent from the field while dishing out 20 assists and amounting 16 steals.

The first half was a back-and-forth affair between the Tornados and Ozarks as the teams were knotted up at 27 with under eight minutes left. CTX headed to locker room up 49-45 at the half with Neal leading the team with 13 points.

In the second half, the Tornados opened on a 13-4 run to extend their lead to 62-49. CTX took their largest lead of the game with 12:27 left in the second half as they led 90-66. The Eagles made a run to close the gap to 13 points with 7:28 remaining in the game, but the Tornados responded with 11-4 run to push the lead back to 20 points. CTX would go on to win the game 123-107.

This is the second season that CTX has had two 120-plus point games, the first time occurring back in 2012. It is the shortest time between such games as the Tornados scored over 120 points on Dec. 1 in a 144-97 win over Belhaven (previous: 28 days; Dec. 1-Dec. 29, 2012).

With the win, CTX moves to 6-3 on the season and 1-0 in the ASC. The team will continue its road trip when they travel to face UT Dallas on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m., who they defeated earlier in the season 110-93.
