KANSAS City, Missouri — Joey Ramirez of Concordia University Texas has been selected to compete in the prestigious NABC Division III All-Star Game, presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

The game will take place Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. ET at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. The annual event showcases many of the top senior players from across NCAA Division III and is held in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Quarter & Semifinal weekend festivities.

Ramirez earned the honor following a standout season for the Tornados, where he established himself as one of the top players in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and across the region.

Ramirez, a First Team All-SCAC selection and the SCAC Player of the Year, started all 27 games and averaged 22.4 points per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 86.2 percent from the free-throw line in the regular season.

The NABC Division III All-Star Game annually features a select group of the nation's best graduating seniors, giving them one final opportunity to compete at the collegiate level while representing their respective programs on a national stage.

Ramirez becomes the first player in program history to receive the prestigious selection, further highlighting the continued growth and success of Concordia Texas men's basketball.
