KERRVILLE, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's tennis team was on the short end of a 9-0 decision Friday at Schreiner.

Leyla Martinez fell just short of grabbing a point in the match for the Tornados (0-3) as she forced a tiebreaker with a 7-6 win in set two after falling short in set one, 7-5. Unfortunately, the Mountaineers' Alex Wheeler won the finale 10-5 at the top singles flight.

Concordia returns to action Fri., Feb. 26 when they host Sul Ross State at the Austin Tennis Center. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
