                    BOX SCORE GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Concordia Texas women's tennis team fell on the road 9-0 to Southwestern on Thursday at the Marvin D. Henderson Sr. Tennis Courts.
In the opening doubles matches, the Pirates swept the Tornados in all three matches, including the duo of 
Alejandra Rueda and 
Natalia Goodman, who fell at line three 8-2.
Concordia Texas looked to stage a comeback in the singles matches but were unable to pick up a point losing all six matches.
Coming off her first career American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week award, 
Cassandra Landeros-Cabrera won a game in each set in her loss at line one, while 
Rachel Sweitzer, at line five, nearly forced a third set, but fell 6-0, 6-3.
The Tornados will continue their three-match road trip, traveling to Sherman, Texas, where they will face Austin College on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
