ABILENE, Texas – Due to inclement weather and to lessen the risk of injury, the Cowboy Invitational has been postponed, announced by Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday, delaying the start of the Concordia Texas track and field season.

The Tornados were set to kick off their season on Saturday on the campus of HSU, competing in the HSU Invitational.

But due to the forecasted inclement weather and potential chance of injury, the meet was called off and has been postponed to a later date.

Concordia Texas will now look forward to the Trinity Invitational, scheduled for March 4-5 on the campus of Trinity in San Antonio.
