AUSTIN, Texas – Concordia Texas men's soccer coach
Nick Mims announced that the Tornados will host an ID Camp on May 15, 2022 on the Concordia campus for student-athletes interested in playing soccer at the next level.
The camp is intended for High School & College aged boys who have the desire to play soccer at the collegiate level and beyond. Collegiate Coaches will conduct the training exercises with the purpose of replicating an everyday college training session.
This camp is an opportunity to get a jump-start on your recruitment while receiving direct instruction from the Concordia University coaching staff. Each camper will not only enhance their soccer skills, but they will get a glimpse into the college athlete lifestyle.
There are only 40 slots available for the camp that will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested applicants can register
here.
Registration for the camp will start at 8:15 a.m. with the camp beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.
The camp will kick off with a one-hour training session from 9:00-10:00 a.m., followed by 7v7 games from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
There will be an hour and a half break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch, which will NOT be provided by the camp.
A campus tour and discussion of college recruitment will follow lunch from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and players will return to the field for training games from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Campers should bring soccer cleats, shin guards (cannot participate without shin guards), soccer clothing and a water bottle.
