DALLAS, Texas -
Will Lancaster has been named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week, the league's office announced on Monday. Lancaster logged two 90-minute masterpieces to help CTX clinch a spot in the SCAC tournament.
Lancaster was brilliant in his first two starts of the season for the Tornados. The junior logged 90 minutes in both games as he notched a free kick goal in a 3-0 win over St. Thomas. In a 3-1 victory at Centenary, Lancaster's timely clearances and tackles help Concordia hold the Gents to only two shots on goal.
