SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's tennis team impressed at the ITA Southwest Regional this past Thursday through Sunday. Six different Tornados found themselves in the win column as Trinity Klamecki and Claire Austin highlighted the success with an semifinals appearance in doubles action at Trinity University. 

In flight A action on day one, Isabella Wiik, Kayla Pena, and Kaitlin Stevens all won their mattches in two sets. Going into the round of 32 on Friday, Klamecki earned two more victories in singles play before falling in the the quarterfinals. Aria Morai won a three-set thriller in her first match of Flight C of the invitational to round out the individual play.

Three teams found success in the first round of doubles play on Saturday. In flight A, the pairings of Wiik / Stevens and Kayla Pena / Natalia Goodman won their first matches. Collecting two victories before falling in the semifinals, Klamecki and Austin played exceptionally well in Flight B of doubles play,

The ITA Invitational concludes the fall season for CTX women's tennis.
