BOX SCORE 1 | BOX SCORE 2 ALPINE, Texas – The Concordia Texas women's tennis team cruised to 9-0 victories in the ASC matchup, outplaying Sul Ross State and winning every set in the Monday matinee. 15 of the 18 matches were shutouts at the Sul Ross State University Tennis Courts.

In women's singles action, Isabella Cepeda, Natalia Goodman, Emily Hines, Trinity Klamecki and Aria Morai all did not drop a single game. Kayla Pena saw slight resistance in her 6-1, 6-3 victory on court one. In doubles actions, Pena and Cepeda held firm for an 8-1 win on line one, while the tandems of Clarie Austin/Klamecki and Goodman/Morai won 8-0.

In men's solo play, Joshua Bode, Estaban Arrendondo, Evan Pena Jr., Daniel Beckles and Andre Nguyen all posted flawless victories, while Jorge Garcia also impressed with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph. All three duos of Bode/Adrian Munguia, Nico De La Pena/Arrendondo and Kade Talbot/Nguyen shutout their opponents with 8-0 wins. 

Following five consecutive road matches, Concordia Texas will now return home for ASC play where they will host McMurry this Friday, March 17th at 2 p.m.
