BOX SCORE 1 | BOX SCORE 2 AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas men's and women's tennis dominated in their matchups against LeTourneau University. The women blanked LeTourneau 9-0, and the men defeated the Yellowjackets 8-1 at the Davis Tennis Courts on Saturday.

In women's singles play, Kayla Pena, Isabella Wiik, Isabella Cepeda and Trinity Klamecki cruised to victories as all four ladies did not drop more than one game in a set. Natalia Goodman posted a solid 6-4, 6-2 win in position four while Aria Morai won an identical 6-2, 6-2 matchup. The doubles action was a similar theme for the women as Wiik and Kaitlin Stevens blanked their opponent, 8-0 on court one. Pena / Cepeda won match two 8-2, while the duo of Claire Austin and Klamecki posted an 8-1 triumph.

Joshua Bode (6-4, 6-3) and Adrian Munguia (6-2, 6-1) tallied wins in the first two men's matches. Andres Padilla was barely outlasted in the match of the day in a 6-7, 7-5, 7-10 decision. Jorge Garcia won his first set 6-4, before blanking his opponent 6-0 in set two. Estaben Arredondo look firm in his 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Evan Pena Jr. rounded out the singles action with a 6-0, 6-2 victory. The tandem of Bode and Munguia were tested on court one, and defeated the opposition 8-7 to start doubles play. Arrendondo and Joeri Bregman earned an 8-2 victory in the first match as a team, while Padilla and Daniel Beckles finished Yellowjackets with an 8-1 win. 

Concordia Texas will be back on the road in Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran next Friday, March 10 at 3 p.m.
