DALLAS, Texas - Concordia Texas southpaw Otto Franz has been named the ASC's Co-Pitcher of the Week, the league's office announced on Monday. This is Franz's first ASC Pitcher of the Week Award this season and the second of his Concordia career.

Franz helped the Tornados to a series sweep over Hardin-Simmons as he tossed a complete game, one hitter in game two. The senior secured five strikeouts and did not allow base hit until the final inning of the game.

This is Franz's second straight complete game victory as he posted five strikeouts in a 6-1 victory over LeTourneau last weekend.

You can next see Franz and the Tornados in Richardson, Texas where they will take on UT Dallas for a series beginning this Thursday, March 28th. First pitch is set for noon.
